I really enjoyed the hot coffee - it tasted like a perfect cup of Joe. The cups themselves had speckles and reminded me of a ski cabin. BEET & PISTACHIO SALAD - not heavy on the goat cheese or dressing, which I think is a good thing AVOCADO TOAST - solid Would love to try the home fries and mushroom barley burger next time.

Loved coming here for brunch. Service was excellent & attentive. I personally had the eggs Benedict which I would deff get again. We split the hash brown dish for the table which I would recommend highly. Everyone else had delicious meals as well! The biscuits and gravy or something I was really surprised about. Definitely wanna come back here. Also, if you're looking for a nice wine selection, they have a little wine and beer store in the front.

Don't let the "Bar" fool you, this is more of a high end neighborhood gastropub serving up fantastically crafted comfort food. Very reasonably priced and delicious. Although friendly, service was a bit spotty when it came to refills. All around a great night out and about.

Happy we chose to stop here for coffee and brunch. Felt very comfortable dining here with friends, the customer service was great. Menu options were plentiful, wish I had pics of what we got but we left no crumbs lol

I ordered the burger medium well. I think it was a bit dry and over cooked but otherwise the food was good! I liked the fries and the food came out relatively quick so good service. There isn't much on the menu so idk if I'll be back but it seems like a good spot for just drinks!

Food was pretty good. I thoroughly enjoyed both types of oysters. The aperol spritz was wonderful. My partner said the ribs were delicious. The ricotta toast could have had more of a sauce, will it does come with hot honey, I felt it overall lacked in flavor. The crispy brussels were definitely worth the rave as far as taste, if you get them will one of the board options they probably make more sense. Service was good. Ambiance I can't speak much for as we sat outside, but the outside atmosphere was lovely. Would definitely come back, would definitely come for drinks and oysters.

One of the best brunches I've ever had!! I was so enamored by this Philly spot with absolutely great service. Everything we ate was done to perfection. The French toast was a dream. The veggie burger has earned its reputation--and then some! The jacked up home fries rocked. My only regret is not ordering even more!

Bar Hygge has a nice, dimly lit atmosphere at night. The service was friendly and the food came out surprisingly fast. To start, the cocktail Lovechild tasted good-- it was a flavorful drink that wasn't too strong. The chicken sandwich wasn't the best out there, but it was a solid one. It consisted of a thick chicken thigh that was well cooked and had good buttermilk flavor and crunch. I wish the spicy ranch on it was spicier, which I think could've enhanced the sandwich. Overall, this is a solid place and I think the next time I go, I'd like to try the Hygge boards.
